    • If you don’t know the note on the scorecard, look it up in your fingering chart in the Essential Elements book. 
  • ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS: 
    • Listed below are exercises to work on.  Play each exercise at least 2 times.
    • You do NOT need to play every exercise every day. So do what you can as I have listed a bunch for you to play! But don’t feel pressured to do too much. Music should still be FUN to play! 
  • USE/SET YOUR METRONOME TO 63 bpm (beats per minute) > METRONOME ONLINE
  • PLEASE PRACTICE THESE EXERCISES > PLAY THEM AT LEAST TWICE IN A ROW. 
      • REVIEW ANY SONGS FOR A WARM UP.

          • ** Count out loud & click the circled “rhythms”.  Then count silently, click circled rhythms, listen to the rhythm/pattern and when you go to play – “put the notes on top of the rhythm” for “good musical math!!
