- - 16 beat long tones. 8 crescend. 8 de-crescend > TEMPO=60 bpm
    - - 10/12 – LTs on upper octave – C#3 to G4. Upper notes of the chromatic scale
      - 9/28 – Ab Major
      - 10/1 – F Melodic (starting on the 2nd octave) & E Major.
      - 10/5 – C# Melodic (2 octaves)
HONOR BAND SCALES > 10/1 – Memorizing all 4 scales
ETUDE: Klose #22 > #17, #16 & #4
PARES SCALES (9/24)
- - Go to any major scale page and find the 1st exercise of each. Described at “Long Tones to Strengthen Lips”. Set your metronome for 70bpm. Cresend for 8 beats, then decresend for 8 beats.
  - Then play a few exercises corresponding with the the key at 66-70 bpm = the 8th note (not quarter)
