CLARINET / CONCERT BAND
- Concert Ab, G and D Major the full range of your instrument + Chromatic Scale (E1 to E4 and back)
  - - Bb1 to F4 to F1 to Bb1 <– hold last note

- Chromatic scale one octave. Bonus – play 3 octaves! *Use your chromatic fingerings.
- Clarinet etude: Allegretto Grazioso > Melody > Melody/Slower > Piano Track
JAZZ TENOR > Jazz III (Jazz B)
- - - Play the following major scales the full range of your instrument: Ab, G and D Major and a chromatic scale one octave.
    - Prepare a short classical etude on Tenor Sax > C major & A minor (progressive studies)
    - Play the melody for “Tenor Madness” once — and prepare/play two choruses of a 12 bar Bb blues solo using transcribed licks. Then play the melody one more time

- - WARM-UP by playing your chromatic scale up and back over, while learning to “memorize” those notes.
  - LONG TONES > Set your metronome to 60 – and keep score on how many beats you can hold the notes for.
  - BLUES SCALE > Practice the Bb concert blues scale, by just playing it up and back over and over to get “muscle memory”.
  - New fingering! The Bb “bis” fingering for speed and smoothness in your playing and eventual “soloing”
